Our Story

In 1960 a small group of medical students in Brisbane created what would become one of the largest student organisations in the world. Today the Australian Medical Students' Association (AMSA) has grown into a massive not-for-profit and the peak representative body for Australia’s 17, 000 medical students.

AMSA exists for you, so that you may find your voice, grow and be inspired. Standing on generations of friendship and Hawaii 5-0s, we exist to bring people together. And as the health community of today and tomorrow, we exist to advocate for a better world on a local, national and global level.

To keep up to date with what AMSA is doing for you, like this page, head on over to our website www.amsa.org.au or chat to your local AMSA Representative.
