Autumn invites a different kind of strength

If you’re on a fertility journey, this season isn’t about pushing harder — it’s about letting go.

In Chinese medicine, autumn is linked to the lungs and the element of metal: the energy of release, refinement, and honest reflection.

Your breath becomes your guide…

Each inhale creates space. Each exhale clears what you’ve been holding — stress, pressure, expectation. Just like trees shed their leaves, your body and mind benefit from releasing what’s no longer serving you.
This isn’t weakness. It’s alignment.

Emotionally, this is a time to acknowledge grief, frustration, or uncertainty without judgment. Physically, it’s about supporting the lungs through deep breathing, movement, and rest.

Energetically, it’s about creating flow — allowing life force to move freely rather than forcing outcomes.

Fertility isn’t just a physical process. It’s a whole-body experience — one that responds to how safe, open, and regulated you feel within yourself.

Slow down.
Breathe deeper.
Let go.

And trust that in the space you create, new life — in all its forms — has room to grow.

There’s something quietly powerful about Autumn..

The air gets crisp, the pace softens, and suddenly you can feel each breath a little more deeply.

It’s the perfect season to come back to your breath practice—to reconnect with the simple, steady rhythm that’s always been there.

Breathing in, we invite clarity, energy, and presence.
Breathing out, we release what no longer serves us.

Just like the trees letting go of their leaves, we’re reminded that letting go isn’t loss—it’s part of the cycle…
A necessary exhale before the next full inhale.
Take a moment today to step outside, feel the cool air fill your lungs, and notice the quiet connection between your body, your breath, and the changing world around you.

Autumn teaches us: there is beauty in both holding on and letting go.

Autumn invites us into the sacred space of the Metal element — a season of refinement, release, and quiet transformation.

This is the time of the Lungs and Large Intestine — the organs that teach us the rhythm of life itself: breathing in what nourishes us, and letting go of what no longer serves.

With each inhale, we receive inspiration, clarity, and divine guidance. With each exhale, we soften our grip, releasing grief, old stories, and emotional residue.

The Metal element holds the frequency of the Alchemist — the one who finds the value in life through transforms grief & loss, chaos into clarity, and experience into truth.

This is the season to distill what truly matters.

Here, we meet the energy of the Divine Father — structure, integrity, and inner authority.

Our relationship with the physical father, or father energy, may surface now, asking to be healed, reclaimed, or redefined.

This directly shapes our self-esteem, boundaries, and sense of worth.

It correlates with the Luteal phase of our cycle, to refining & harvest.

Metal calls us toward purification:
Clearing clutter in our homes
Clearing stagnant energy in our bodies
Clearing outdated beliefs in our minds

It asks: What are you holding onto that is weighing you down?

Perfectionism may arise here — but not as a burden. Instead, as a refinement process. A call to align with your highest standard of truth, not from pressure, but from devotion.

This is also the season of voice and communication — speaking with precision, honesty, and courage. When we align with higher truth, our words carry power, resonance, and healing.

Autumn reminds us:
There is beauty in letting go.
There is power in simplicity.
There is truth in what remains

Breathe deeply. Release fully. Refine gently.

Celebrating the Autumn Equinox at Seven Sisters Festival felt deeply meaningful this year — layered with reverence, reflection, and a profound sense of full circle.

To have been there at the very beginning, and now again at the closing chapter under Lauren’s beautiful stewardship, was something truly special.

This year held an even deeper resonance through the wisdom and legacy of , whose lifelong devotion to women’s mysteries, rites of passage, and cyclical living continues to ripple outward in the most powerful ways.

Her work is a true gift — and the depth of her offerings, including her online resources, are such a rich well for any woman feeling the call.

Equally moving was witnessing Katherine Cunningham, her life’s work — a body of devotion cultivated over decades.

Having sat in women’s circles with her in my 20s, it was incredibly powerful to now witness the expression of that journey through the launch of her book StarFire. A legacy of heart, spirit, and deep feminine wisdom — may she burn bright till the end. 🙏🏽

There was so much beauty woven throughout the weekend — dancing in ecstatic joy with beloved friends, reconnecting with soul sisters, soaking in inspiring conversations, and nourishing ourselves in every sense.

Sharing this experience with dear friends from Canberra, laughing, dancing, and simply being together… time like this is medicine.

And the moments with my beautiful Chiara — now 15 — remind me just how unique & safe it is to be able share & express in a fully feminine space.

From powerful voices and music, to the deep remembrance that lives in spaces like this — I leave feeling full, grateful, and inspired.

As one chapter closes, I’m excited to witness what will emerge next for Seven Sisters.
Until next time, with a full and grateful heart ❤️

I am so grateful to be at Seven Sisters Festival in Victoria for Autumn Equinox today…
a sacred pause in the year where day and night stand in perfect balance.

Where ever you are-this moment invites us to reflect on our own inner equilibrium…

Where have we been giving too much?

Where have we been holding on too tightly?

Just as the trees begin to release their leaves, we are called to gently let go — not from loss, but from trust.

Trust that by releasing what no longer serves, we create space for deeper alignment, clarity, and calm.
Autumn is not an ending — it’s a recalibration.

✨ A few simple equinox rituals to honour this shift:
• Write down what you’re ready to release, then safely burn or tear the paper as a symbol of surrender
• Declutter a small space in your home to mirror inner clearing
• Spend time in nature, noticing the subtle changes in light, air, and energy
• Light a candle at sunset and reflect on gratitude and intention for the season ahead
• Create a grounding tea ritual — slow down, sip, and be present

Let this be your reminder: balance isn’t something you find once — it’s something you return to, again and again.

🍂 What are you ready to release this season?
Enjoy claiming a moment to notice and receive the wisdom.

As the golden glow of late summer begins to soften, we arrive at a quiet, powerful threshold in the 5 Element wheel — the transition from Earth to Metal.

Earth has held us in nourishment, abundance, and grounded connection. But as the season subtly shifts, Metal invites us inward. It is the element of refinement, clarity, and truth. It asks: what is essential, and what is ready to be released?

With Metal comes the emotional landscape of grief, loss, and letting go.

Grief clears space. Loss shapes meaning. Letting go creates room for what is next…

In this transition, the breath becomes our greatest ally.
Each inhale invites clarity.

Each exhale becomes a gentle act of release.
Breath helps us process what words cannot. It moves what is stuck. It connects us to the present moment, where healing unfolds.

Rather than resisting this shift, we can welcome it:
Softly. Consciously. Compassionately.

Honour what has passed.
Release what no longer serves.
Trust in the beauty of making space.
This is the wisdom of Metal — finding strength in surrender, and peace in simplicity.
Breathe it in. Let it go.

Luscious womb food!!

Rich in fiber, antioxidants, and essential minerals like iron, calcium, and potassium, figs have long been treasured in traditional nutrition for supporting reproductive health. Their nourishing properties may help support hormonal balance, healthy circulation, and overall womb wellness.

In many cultures, figs symbolize fertility and abundance—making them a powerful, natural addition to a fertility-supportive lifestyle. Whether enjoyed fresh or dried, they’re a delicious way to nourish your body and honour your reproductive health.

Small fruit, powerful nourishment for the womb ❤️

Enjoying this last phase of late Summer & the Earth Element…

& appreciating the connection to our inner Mothers.

And to the the great mother: the one who feeds, holds, and sustains life.

Just as the soil of Mother Earth transforms sun, water, and minerals into food, the Earth element within us transforms what we take in into nourishment for the body, mind, and spirit.

In this system, Earth is connected to digestion and assimilation — not only of food, but of life itself. It reflects our ability to receive nourishment from meals, from care, from connection, and from the experiences that shape us.

When the Earth element is balanced, we feel grounded, supported, and nurtured. We can digest our food well, but also process emotions and feel a sense of belonging and stability.

When it’s depleted, we may feel ungrounded, worried, or as though our deeper needs for support and care are not being met.

The Earth phase invites us to slow down and reconnect with the rhythms of nourishment — eating warm, whole foods, resting, connecting with others, and allowing ourselves to be supported.

Like the fertile soil of Mother Earth, this element reminds us that true nourishment is both physical and emotional, and that when we are well nourished, we are able to grow, give, and thrive.

08/03/2026

Today on International Women’s Day, I’m honouring the nurturing wisdom of late Earth element within us. 🌿

In the Five Element system, Earth relates to Late Summer — the season of nourishment, integration, and coming home to yourself. It reminds us that just like the land after harvest, we are meant to receive, digest, and trust that we are already enough.

If you’ve been holding onto shame, guilt, or self-doubt, let this be your moment to release it back to the Earth.
Tap. Breathe. Let it go.

The Earth element has the capacity to hold, transform, and compost what no longer serves you — turning heaviness into fertile ground for growth.

Late Summer teaches us the medicine of self-nourishment.

To slow down.
To be supported.
To trust the ground beneath our feet.
You don’t have to carry everything alone.
You are allowed to be held.
You are allowed to take up space.

Just like the Earth — steady, abundant, and life-giving — you are already enough.

There’s something incredibly special about being called in when a woman’s labour needs a little extra support.

Supporting women in this powerful, vulnerable moment—right where they feel safest—is a privilege I never take lightly.

Acupuncture can help encourage the body back into its natural rhythm, supporting labour to progress while keeping the focus on calm, connection, and trust in the process. Being invited into that space is truly an honour.

I love that this is one of the unique services I offer here in Canberra—meeting women where they are, when they need it most.
