We were proud to support the Kicks and Tricks event at Henwood Park in Wagga Wagga on the 10th of April as part of Youth Week, alongside Wagga Wagga City Council. 🤟

The day brought young people and the community together for skate, BMX and scooter competitions, a BBQ and local services connecting with the community. It was fantastic to see such a great turnout. 🛹🚲🛴

Last week we farewelled our Chief Executive Officer, Stephanie Hodson 🤍

Over the last four years Steph has led our organisation through a significant change journey to improve our governance, sustainability and ability to respond to meet our community need.

She has made such an impact on RACR - not just as a CEO but also as a person, through her warmth, compassion and genuine care for staff and the communities we serve. Leaving a lasting legacy, her next chapter is very "Steph" full of adventure, travel and making the most of life while travelling around Australia! 🚐 🤸‍♂️

Children and young people need safe spaces to express big feelings — especially during times of change. Giving kids the opportunity to talk about family changes can help them feel secure, understood and supported. 💬

Counselling offers a safe, supportive space for young people aged 5–18 to share what’s going on for them, build resilience and learn healthy ways to cope with challenges such as anxiety, grief, emotional regulation, school refusal and changes at home. It can also strengthen communication and relationships within families.

Family and Relationship Services are utilised by tens of thousands of Australians to reach safe, workable agreements for their separation.

They support individuals and families to resolve parenting and property matters early - reducing conflict and the need for costly litigations. They help families to stabilise during one of the hardest periods of their lives.

The sector is struggling to manage growing costs with funding that hasn't been able to keep pace. Reduction of funding for these critical services will have serious and immediate consequences for Australians.

Knowing how your partner feels loved is important, but so is recognising and honouring their limits. Everyone deserves to feel safe, heard and respected in their relationships.
