Congratulations to Carmel Wallis and Kaye Bryan on this well-deserved recognition as Walk of Honour inductees. 🌏Carmel Wallis and Kaye Bryan are the co-founders of ErinEarth, an important environmental and community education initiative.

🌳The pair have worked tirelessly to encourage sustainable living in homes, schools and workplaces with their influence to resonate for generations to come.

🏆Today, they were honoured as the joint 44th Walk of Honour inductees with a new plaque, to recognise their contributions to Wagga Wagga.

We were so excited to attend a sneak peek 👀 of the new Gungahlin Community Centre and Youth Hub, the future permanent home of Gunners Place.

Purpose-built as a youth activity and community space, the centre includes inclusive hireable spaces, art studios, a gallery, dance studio, kitchen facilities, outdoor green space and public art. 🎨

Gunners Place is delivered by a consortium, working together to provide youth activities, programs and drop-in sessions for young people aged 12 to 25.

The centre officially opens on 6th July, with soft launch activities to be shared by the Gunners Place team. 💙

We were pleased to attend the ACT Men & Boys Summit in April.

The Summit brought together a range of organisations and community leaders to discuss how we can better support men and boys across the ACT, with a focus on connection, wellbeing, accountability and positive change.

It was a valuable opportunity to be part of the conversation and connect with others working in this space.

We look forward to continuing this work alongside the broader working group. 💙

As part of our Women: Reclaim group in Wagga Wagga, participants created a Strengths Wall together over the eight weeks of the program.

Throughout the group, women shared the strengths they see in themselves and each other, offering encouragement and reflecting on their hopes and plans for the future.

The wall became a simple reflection of the connection and support that developed within the group, and a reminder of the strengths each person brings. 🌻

Our Multicultural Women’s Makers Group in Wagga Wagga has been busy knitting beanies for children at Sydney Children’s Hospital, using donated wool sourced through community connections. 🧶

Each Tuesday women from different cultural backgrounds come together to connect, share skills and spend time creating together.

Riverina Family Law Pathways Network is hosting a screening of the documentary Seen at Forum 6 Cinema in Wagga Wagga.

After the film, local Wiradjuri/Wolgalu man Joe Williams, who features in the documentary, will join Kylie Campbell from Kanda Psychology for a Q&A.

We were proud to support the Kicks and Tricks event at Henwood Park in Wagga Wagga on the 10th of April as part of Youth Week, alongside Wagga Wagga City Council. 🤟

The day brought young people and the community together for skate, BMX and scooter competitions, a BBQ and local services connecting with the community. It was fantastic to see such a great turnout. 🛹🚲🛴
