Well done CBR!
Well done Canberra – our childhood vaccination rates are the best in the country. 👏👏👏
Hazel and Charlie (pictured) are up to date with their vaccines and ready to play!
Childhood vaccines help protect against vaccine preventable diseases such as:
✅measles, mumps, rubella
✅pneumococcal
✅diphtheria, tetanus, pertussis (whooping cough)
✅hepatitis B
✅meningococcal
✅ influenza
They are due at specific ages and it’s important that they’re done on time according to the ACT Immunisation Schedule.
You can get your baby or child vaccinated at your GP or Early Childhood Immunisation clinic.
Influenza vaccines are also available at your community pharmacy for children aged 2 years and over.
Make sure you take your child’s Personal Health Record (blue book) with you.
You can check your child’s vaccination history through your Medicare account on the MyGov app.
