East Canberra General Practice

East Canberra General Practice Now accepting new patients! Among the areas of special interest of AGP doctors are women’s health, dermatology, minor and cosmetic surgery and travel medicine.

East Canberra General Practice (formerly Airport General Practice) offers holistic healthcare for our patients - care which responds not only to the presenting medical condition but also its long term history and its psycho-social context. The practice encourages patients to develop an ongoing relationship with their GP so that discrete health care events are experienced by the patient as coherent

and connected, and consistent with the patient’s medical needs. AGP also has a particular interest in the care of children and young people. Two of the doctors have completed post graduate qualifications in child health. AGP has been made possible by funding made available by Health Workforce Australia as an Australian Government initiative. This means we will have a long term involvement in the training of health professionals including registrars, nurses and medical students. Our after-hours service is provided by the Canberra After Hours Locum Medical Service (CALMS): 1300 422 567
