Meet Anna -

Anna has stepped seamlessly into Kind, and it already feels like she’s always been here.

You’ll find her teaching on Tuesday and Saturday mornings, greeting you with a smile that truly lights up the room. There’s a steadiness to Anna, with her deep, soothing voice that seems to regulate your nervous system the moment she begins to speak.

She’s incredibly passionate about her own yoga journey, practicing a range of different styles herself, and that curiosity and openness shows in the way she teaches. She’s always thoughtful, intentional, and grounded in experience.

Anna is one of those genuinely supportive humans. Kind. Positive. Warm. Present. She always teaches with care and attention to the people in front of her.

We feel very lucky to have her as part of the Kind fam ✌️

Team time

A couple of weeks ago we came together as a teaching team for a hands-on assists training led by our boss lady .

We explored what assists are for, what feels good, what doesn’t, what’s appropriate, and most importantly, how consent, communication and presence sit at the centre of it all.

Assists have become a bit of a funny thing in yoga. We do them far less than we used to, and for good reason. When they are offered, they need to be intentional, optional, and genuinely supportive - never assumed.

At Kind choice always comes first. That’s why you’ll see our little yes/no assist cards in the studio, a simple way for you to let us know what feels right for you on any given day.

Huge thanks to Han for holding such a thoughtful, practical and open experience. It’s always really lovely spending time with team Wild and Kind. If you have any questions about hands-on assists in yoga, please reach out! We’d love to know your thoughts ✌️

Alenka appreciation 🤍

Taking a moment to acknowledge our wonderful teacher Alenka.

Alenka is truly a quintessential Kind teacher. She brings so much energy into the space, teaches generously and consistently, and is deeply dedicated to both her own practice and this studio. You feel her presence the moment she enters the room - super steady, warm, and considerate.

What makes Alenka especially unique, though, is her kindness. And we don’t say that lightly. She genuinely oozes kindness, nurture, and love. The way she holds space, the care she shows students, and the softness she brings to every class is something really special.

In fact, Alenka, along with a few other beautiful teachers here - was part of the inspiration behind the name Kind. She embodies what this space is about: inclusion, warmth, care, and connection.

We are so grateful for everything she offers - her energy, dedication, and the love she brings into the room every time she teaches.

Thank you, Alenka. You’re an absolute legend.

New Prenatal Yoga on Tuesday Nights

We’re so excited to be welcoming a new Prenatal Yoga class to the schedule, starting this Tuesday 6.45pm - 8pm.

This class is led by Jenny, an experienced and deeply caring teacher who brings so much calm, knowledge, and kindness into the room. She is wonderful at creating a supportive, grounding space for you to move, breathe, rest, and connect with your changing body and growing baby.

Whether you’re brand new to yoga or have an established practice, this class is designed to support you through pregnancy—physically, emotionally, and energetically 🙏

We recently sent out an email sharing our new classes and offerings for the year, and in my eagerness to get it out, I missed mentioning a couple of new additions to the timetable.

So just a little follow-up to say: there’s even more to come, including a new 5pm Pilates class, plus a few other offerings woven through the schedule.

We’re now stocking Wild-Crafted Ceremonial Cacao — rich, delicious, and absolutely beautiful for your morning ritual or arvo pick-me-up.

Come get amongst this wonderful coffee alternative (just kidding, nothing replaces coffee - but cacao is still incredible). Also makes a pretty neat Christmas present. Just sayin…🤎

Wild + Kind Staff Christmas Gathering

This year’s (early) Christmas celebration took us to , where we explored the magic of herbs and natural remedies, and discovered simple ways to weave them into our daily routines. We read some tea leaves — a beautiful reminder to listen to the little messages life offers us. And most importantly, we spent quality time together as a team. Laughing, learning, sharing inspo… and feeling so grateful for the people who make our studios what they are.

Here’s to our Wild & Kind family - Team work makes the dream work.
