Time2Restore Time2Restore is a Health and Well-Being business run by Ian Brown and currently focused on Bodyworking with Body/Mind work through massage. Who is Ian Brown?

Time2Restore is a Health and Well-Being business currently focused on Bodyworking with a variety of modalities offered from first time massage people to experience ones seeking something special It operates in the Gunghalin area and offers a variety of massages customised to the client. I am a guy who has been massaging for the 10+ years. I qualified in Swedish and Therapeutic Massage as part of a Cert IV in massage at Om Shanti College in ACT. With my clients enjoying their massages this helped to drive my desire to learn even more, so I completed studies in Lymphatic Massage at Endeavor College up in Sydney. I then completed further massage studies with Discover Massage in Sydney in Whole body and Chair massage. However, 2017 was when I discovered Ka Huna or Hawaiian Temple massage and I began several years of study at the Mette's Institute up in Queensland delving deeper into this fantastic and rewarding style of massage. Returning with this very special massage my clients all loved this treatment even more than current more basic massages. So, after several visits involving weeks of live-in, onsite experiential training I completed my Rite of Passage as a Ka Huna master with Mette's Institute. In 2020, I further expanded into the art of Heartworks Lomi Lomi and Hot stones massage a beautiful complement to further delight my clients and offer some choices in my bodywork. Again, my clients loved the hot stones too especially in winter here in ACT. At the same time I also trained in Polynesian floor massage, a fully clothed style of joint stretching that allows people unsure of table massage to enjoy an introduction to touch/massage and come away feeling much better and relaxed. I also maintain my Senior First aid certificate as part of my commitment to safety and care of my clients

I am a full member of the International Institute of Complementary Therapists https://www.iict.com.au with full professional Insurance.

Winter Solstice or Yule. The season of Yule, which this year falls on Saturday, 21st June, is rooted in ancient traditions as a time to celebrate the rebirth of the sun and all that comes with the returning light.

Until the Solstice, as the nights lengthen, we remember our place in the great turning of the Wheel. This sacred pause invites us to remember the old magic of the long, dark nights, to embrace the beauty of togetherness, and to savour the simple joy of toasty fires, feasts with friends, and warm mugs of cacao as that is how we will be enjoying it.

Remember, allow yourself a time for inner reflection and slowing down, Yule allows us to deepen our connection to nature, celebrate the abundant blessings we have received, and stoke the fire of the inner light that resides in our heart temple.

Our story

Time2Restore is a Health and Well-Being business run by Ian Brown and currently focused on Bodyworking with Body/Mind work through massage. It operates in the Gunghalin area and offers a variety of massages customised for you and what you and/or your body might be seeking. The aim is for clients to build confidence in their body image, reduce stress for the mind and body and enable their bodies natural healing in a safe and sacred space. At the same time clients learn more about their bodies and also about self-care. Time2Restore provides a Unique/Bespoke massage in that you will notice each appointment is 1.5 hrs, providing at least 1 hour of care actually on the table being massaged with full attention while still providing time to discuss your needs and allows you to recover slowly before floating out the door. We never just schedule a β€œ1 hr massage” and have that to include consulting/recover time and thereby shortening the whole massage experience Who is Ian Brown? I am a guy who has been massaging for the last 5 years. I qualified in Swedish and Therapeutic Massage at Om Shanti College in ACT. This helped to drive my desire to learn even more so I completed further studies in Lymphatic Massage at Endeavor College up in Sydney. I then completed massage studies with Discover Massage in Sydney in Whole Body and Chair massage. In 2017 as part of my belief in constant learning and building knowledge on other modalities I studied at the Mette's Institute up in Queensland the Ka Huna or Hawaiian Temple style massage and was so blown away with the healing and nurturing aspects of Ka Huna I returned in January 2108 to conduct further advanced training in Kahuna. Bringing this special skill back to my clients was certainly a new beginning for both them and me. I also maintain my Senior First Aid certificate as part of my commitment to safety and care of my clients while also having completed a Federal Police Check and hold my Working with Vulnerable People card as a commitment to my clients. I am a full member of the International Institute of Complementary Therapists https://www.iict.com.au with full professional Insurance.
