It’s very common to feel less motivated to exercise during winter. Cold mornings, darker days and staying indoors more can all make it harder to keep moving.
But over time, moving less can lead to more stiffness, reduced strength, poorer balance and a loss of confidence with everyday activities.
The good news is that staying active during winter doesn’t have to mean intense exercise or spending lots of time outside in the cold. Small amounts of regular movement can make a real difference.
