Our hearts are with the Bondi community today.

Everyone at Capital Psychology Clinic is thinking of those who were harmed, those who witnessed what happened, and everyone grieving after last night’s tragedy. We’re also holding close our Bondi and Sydney colleagues who are supporting their communities through an incredibly difficult time.

Events like this can leave people feeling shocked, unsettled, angry, numb, or simply exhausted. There’s no “right” way to respond. As we move into the Christmas period, this can also bring things to the surface or make it harder to feel safe, steady, or joyful.

If you’ve been directly affected, or you’re finding the news is sitting heavily with you, please be gentle with yourself. Reach out to someone you trust, limit exposure to distressing coverage if you need to, and take things one hour at a time.

To the Bondi community, and to anyone across Sydney and Australia feeling this deeply: we’re sending care, strength, and support. You are not alone.

If you need immediate support, please contact Lifeline (13 11 14) or 000 in an emergency.

With warmth,
Capital Psychology Clinic 💛

🌺 Lest We Forget | ANZAC Day 2025 🌺

On this ANZAC Day, we pause to reflect and honour the incredible courage, sacrifice, and resilience of the Australian and New Zealand Army Corps — past and present. 🇦🇺🇳🇿

At Capital Psychology Clinic, we stand in deep gratitude for those who have served and those who continue to serve our country. Today, we not only remember the lives lost, but we also acknowledge the emotional and psychological journeys that veterans and their families continue to face.

🕯️ ANZAC Day is a time to come together — to remember, to support, and to ensure that no one walks the road of grief, trauma, or transition alone.

If this day brings up memories or feelings for you, please know our doors are open, and support is here. We honour not just history, but the human spirit behind every uniform. 💛

Take a moment of silence. Lay a poppy. Start a conversation. Remember them.
