After four years of preparation, Ping Ming Health Foundation Perth held the launching ceremony at 2:30 pm on Saturday, 15 March, at 54 Dudley St Midland, WA 6056.
Firstly, during the ceremony, President of the community Dr Ping Wang made a speech. She explained the purpose of the Foundation is to popularise the education of TCM health awareness and balance of emotional issues to the society and students. The foundation is also aimed at helping people who have financial issues to get TCM treatment.
Secondly, our Qigong instructor, Jessica, introduced the intention of Qigong is to balance life. She also demonstrated how to do Qigong to everyone. The professional photographer Tony showed the audience his artwork, and the designer, Teresa, introduced the principle of showroom design. Dr Ping also taught some self-exercises for a healthy liver and gall bladder. Thirdly, the participants tasted some herbal teas served by our community staff Fiona. They also observed indoor and outdoor TCM herbal plants. Furthermore, everybody tried Chinese calligraphy which helps energy flow. Then, Mr. Chen from Wing Hong Butchers donated to the Foundation.
Lastly, the Foundation provided two thousand dollars as scholarship to Rick, who just started his TCM study in RMIT. We hope that we can provide more information about TCM to the public and the society in the future, at the same time, the public and the society can be involved more in the education and activities of the Foundation. Together, we can improve the TMC acupuncture impact on society and help our communities get healthier.
