THIS OR THAT 👀

Gym pain doesn’t always mean stop, sometimes it just means swap 🤝

We asked Dr Justin to compare common exercises and which ones he’d choose for different types of pain.
Simple changes, better movement, happier joints 🤗

Why posture matters more than you think:

Your posture isn’t just about how you look. It directly affects how your body functions every day.

Poor posture can:

Increase tension in your neck and shoulders
Lead to back pain and headaches
Reduce your energy levels
Affect your breathing and digestion

When your spine is aligned and supported, your body moves more efficiently, muscles work as they should and your nervous system functions better.

Small daily changes like sitting tall, standing evenly on both feet and taking breaks from screens can make a big difference.

Good posture is more than sitting up straight. It’s about supporting your health long-term.

PHR Chiropractic

Dr Peter Hanna is a graduate of Bachelor of Chiropractic and Chiropractic Science from Murdoch University. He has always had a passion for sports - particularly tennis, which he competed in at a state level throughout his schooling days. His enjoyment for sport, learning about the human body and injuries, and how to improve performance lead him to choose a career in Sports Science. During his studies of Sports Science, he met the Dean of Chiropractic. The Dean’s lecture, based on Chiropractic and its vital role in sports, motivated Peter to further his passion and enrol into Chiropractic Science and he has not looked back since.

His part-time employment at the time included working at a pharmacy as a Pharmacist Assistant. Here he experienced the limitations of modern medicine’s ability to “treat” injuries and provide safe, long-term pain control. This further instilled his motivation to work within a profession that is able to provide safe, effective, long-term pain relief and injury management that addresses the source of the problem, rather than masking the symptoms.

Peter has also further advanced his studies with the completion of an Internationally Certified Chiropractic Sports Practitioner (ICCSP) and a dry needling course. He is also a current volunteer for Sports Chiropractic Australia, and has previously worked with a local football club, Australia’s national lacrosse team and volunteered his time to help the remote community of Tom Price.

“I believe everybody has the potential to live pain free and have a high quality of life. My responsibility and enjoyment as a Chiropractor is helping people achieve their health goals and surpass that potential.” - Dr Hanna.
