Our recent trip to Wellington Point took an unexpected turn when we stumbled upon a Rotary event featuring a fantastic display of Queensland Fire and Emergency Services fire trucks, classic cars, military vehicles, and police cars. We even had the chance to hop into some of them for a fun photo op!

Some of our residents had the best day ever at Wynnum Plaza, thanks to the Canine Cuddles Animal Therapy pop-up! Lots of waggly tails, puppy kisses, belly rubs and non-stop cuddles – pure happiness! 🐶💖

Our resident, Rob, had an absolute blast at the EKKA earlier this week. He enjoyed playing games at the Sideshow Alley, indulging in classic Ekka treats, and picking up some fun show bags. And the best part? He managed to avoid the rain! 🌞 A perfect day out full of fun and memories. 🎡🥳

What a night to remember! All of our residents came together in style for the much-anticipated 17th annual Moonlight Magic Dinner Dance. 😍💃🕺

Before the event, excitement filled the air as everyone prepared for a night of fun! The guys looked sharp and the ladies looked elegant and pretty.

Here are some pre-event photos capturing the anticipation and glamour of the evening. From laughter-filled moments to poses exuding confidence, every snapshot is a testament to the wonderful community spirit we share here at Thornfields.

Davie had an amazing time with his Support Worker Pam when they visited the incredible Dinosaurs of Patagonia exhibit on Wednesday at the Queensland Museum. The highlight of the day was undoubtedly facing the world's biggest dinosaur, the legendary titanosaur Patagotitan. A delicious chocolate ice cream from Cold Rock overlooking the Southbank Lagoon pool was a perfect way to cap off the day.🦕🍦

Yesterday Thornfields threw a little birthday celebration for David, who turned 47 years young! David spent the day eating chocolate cake in the company of his close friends 🎉
