When one of our children experienced a mental health problem, we thought that sending them to a counsellor would solve the issues they were having, and essentially, free us from worry.

When it didn't work I realised that my husband and I needed to change.

Was it easy? No, it absolutely wasn't, not going to lie. Was it worth it? Beyond words 🙏

Now, I have a burning desire to reach other families to teach them the skills to emotion coach their own kids, and offer parents my unwavering support through their transition.

It isn't about blaming, or shaming, or having a one size fits all solution.

It's about moving forward ⏩ and having long lasting results that bring families together 🩷
