There is a lot of weight-loss noise on FB/ Insta feeds at the moment. Things like:
“Join the 30 day challenge”
“Eat Keto and win”
“Food Prep for weight loss”
Whilst it’s all intriguing information that can bring on a feeling of “yeah.. i can do this” while watching the dopamine inducing video, the statistics show, weight loss after a decision on a New Year’s resolution is generally unsuccessful. In fact, 86% of the 40-50 year old population put on weight every year, an average of 3kg a year! This weight compounds, and before you know it, the hormonal changes, sleep debt, parenting stress, elevated cortisol and muscle loss have us sitting at an obese weight range that is overwhelmingly difficult to shift.
If going to the gym or following a diet was easy, we wouldn’t have an obesity epidemic.
Most of us eat s**t because we are stressed and tired, not because we are stupid. I rarely need to educate a person on healthy eating in clinic. Most of us have a fair idea of what that means but here’s the thing…. we need the ENERGY to do it.

How often do you need to see me? As often as you want. For some people it’s twice a year to get them on track and review. Others prefer every 4 or 8 weeks. You lead the way and I’ll support you with what suits.
My advice: focus on cleaning up the body and boosting energy. Performance always improves after a tune-up.
