Struggling with hip pain after menopause?
You’re not alone. Lower oestrogen levels can weaken tendons—especially the gluteals—leading to inflammation and pain on the outside of the hip (often called gluteal tendinopathy or GTPS).

As a physio, I often see this in women 45+. The good news? Targeted exercises, posture tips, and collagen supplements (with vitamin C) can support tendon repair and reduce pain.

Early management is key. Don’t ignore hip pain—your body deserves support at every stage.

Hello to all of our lovely patients past and present.
The past 6 months since we’ve been back from our overseas odyssey have flown by. After 6 wonderful months travelling around England, Wales, France,Italy and Switzerland we will be making our way home in early May ready to start seeing patients again in our lovely clinic in Canungra. We look forward to seeing everyone again after such a long break.
