Hi Guys

There have been recent changes with the new NDIS guidelines and unfortunately, equine assisted therapy in no longer covered under NDIS, as it is not evidenced based.

Over the past 10 years I have had the privilege of work alongside veterans, domestic violence survivors, and recently youth at risk. During this time, I have witnessed first hand the impact that these incredible creatures have on humans.

They non-judgementally offer support by reflecting back what an individual is authentically feeling, this in turn may assist the individual to look within, develop self awareness, build emotional regulation and much more - this offers hope.

Many, many clients have told me “the only reason I got out of bed today was because of “the horse name”, or “I don’t think I would be here today if it wasn’t for “the horse name”

Please, if you are reading this and have been impacted by any of the horses that I work with, or in general, contact Animal Therapy Ltd (link below 👇) and share your experience with them. It is vital that we collect this information to validate the effectniveness this modality from a threaputic perspective.

Happy Sunday !

This came up on my feed - I can’t believe how quickly time passes, it has been 12 months since I stopped working from the farm and now part of the wonderful team at Connect and Thrive……. Thanks guys !

You might have noticed that I haven't been posting much lately, well that because my circumstances have changed.
I will no longer be working out of the farm and am now working with Thrive & Connect Therapeutic Services.

Well..... for those of you that don't know, I have had a change in circumstances and I won't be doing any equine therapy from the farm, I am now part of the team at Thrive & Connect Therapeutic Services, located at Maudsland Road.
Good news is that they are closer to the Gold Coast !
