It’s that time of year again! 🎄 Active Care will be supporting the Redlands Community Centre again this year in their annual Christmas Gift Drive! We will be collecting brand new, unwrapped gifts for children aged 0-16 to donate to this amazing cause.
If you wish to donate, please bring in donations in to our Capalaba clinic before the 10th of December!

🎯 Now offering Vestibular Physiotherapy at Active Care Physiotherapy – Capalaba
If you or someone you know experiences dizziness, vertigo, or unsteadiness, our team can now help.
George Campbell and Andrew Fowler have completed specialised training in vestibular rehabilitation – a form of physiotherapy designed to help improve balance, reduce dizziness, and restore confidence with movement.
Common conditions we treat include:
🌀 Benign Paroxysmal Positional Vertigo (BPPV)
⚖️ Balance and stability issues
💫 Vestibular neuritis / hypofunction
🚶‍♀️ Post-concussion dizziness or falls risk

Huge congratulations to our superstar physio Maddie who took out the Premier League Netball Sapphire Divison Championship on the weekend! 🏐👏

Maddie brings the same determination, teamwork, and passion she shows on the court into the clinic every day, and we couldn’t be prouder to celebrate this achievement with her.

What an achievement by Pio Bunin who won silver in the 80m sprint at the Oceania Masters Athletics - all on a fresh hamstring strain!

We had a short turnaround when Pio came in days before the race, but plenty of hard work in a short space of time meant he could cross the finish line 💪💪

Arpith has been a motivated patient at Active Care Capalaba for several years now, and everyone has always been so impressed by his dedication to rehab and conditioning!

On a recent trip to India Nick was lucky enough to get a shirt signed by one of Arpith’s favourite cricketers Rahul Dravid, which timed perfectly as a 20th birthday present! We are so grateful to Rahul for his time and can’t wait to see which goals Arpith achieves next.

Practitioner Spotlight: George Campbell 🔔
George is an ACP legacy! 2nd son of our owner and head physiotherapist, Nick, George has been around our clinic for years! He is also a skilled endurance athlete and is expanding his knowledge base into gym and endurance coaching. His favourite conditions to treat are sports injuries, osteoporosis and balance / falls prevention. He is at Capalaba 5 days a week (including every second Saturday!) Practitioner Spotlight - Isaiah Snell 🔔
Isaiah has had his fair share of injuries over the years playing representative cricket and more recently competing in endurance racing. Between marathons, triathlons and iron men, Isaiah knows his way around loading based injuries and return to sport guidelines. His favourite conditions to treat are Triathalon injuries, knee ligament injuries and bone stress injuries. Maddie has been apart of the Active Care family for years - both as a physio and a patient! She plays netball at a semi-professional level so has had her fair share of injuries over the years! Maddie’s favourite conditions to treat are netball injuries, ankle injuries and clinical Pilates and exercise sessions. Did you know that when you injure a ligament, we assign different grades to the injury? This is mostly a description of the level of structural compromise of the ligament but also gives us an indication of expected healing timeframes! For a lot of ligaments, our physios can use their hands on assessment techniques to give an indication of grade but for others, more extensive investigations (such as an MRI) might be required.
