ent’s body. This scarring would cross meridians which clearly demonstrated a solid link to their overall lack of health, some refer to this as Sho. Consequently, Phil discovered and developed a range of techniques using the “Yanagish*ta” teishin, a gold teishin, or Shi Zhen which is mentioned in the Miraculous Pivot & the Suwen, it is one of the 9 classical needles. As a result, this amazing technique quickly reduces any form of scar tissue, including keloids, from a severe hindrance of reduced conductivity to enabling the free flow of Ki, so that the scarred skin more closely resembled the surrounding skin tissue reverting to it’s natural skin colour. The damaged tissue was revitalised in the affected area and had regained the lost tactile sensations and reduced the size and malformation of the damaged site.This resulted in a workshop presentation at the 2007 AACMAC in Brisbane. Phil wishes to conduct Scar Rejuvenation training workshops in Europe, USA, Ireland & the UK. Specialties: Use of Teishins for improved Ki/Qi control/performance. The Australian cricket team is flying into Brisbane, if not they are already here. Half of the team are carrying injuries. Calf, hamstrings, back injuries. May be more. It would be nice if my nice patients would be able to make them aware they are close to one of the better acupuncturists in Australia. They are only one up starting the second test. Can't have the old enemy squaring the contest. Repetitive injuries need to be resolved!!

These very strong winds in SEQ have wreaked havoc! Many trees have fallen, power lines down! Remember, in acupuncture terms, the wind creates immense problems with hay fever/rhinitis. Referred to as pathogenic Qi, wind affects our bodies by “entering” via our neck region. To help reduce this, wear a scarf even, indoors. A point high on the neck is called “Fengfu, Wind Mansion” known as Du 16, then a second point called “Feng Men, Wind Gate”!! This is known as UB 12. By stimulating both of these points greatly reduces the intense effect of this seasonal wind.
