Do you know why your ears (and ear wax) hate cotton buds? 🤔
Your ears produce ear wax to clean and protect themselves. Ear wax usually works its way out of your ears naturally, which is one reason why you should never stick anything into your ears to clean them! 👂
Not only is it dangerous, but it can also make problems with ear wax build up a lot worse as you push the wax further into your ear canals.
If you do get a build up of ear wax that’s causing you problems, visit your GP to have it removed. You can also get drops from the pharmacy to loosen ear wax. ✅
