Professional, evidence-based Chiropractic & Naturopathic services. Gerard has a Bachelor of Health Science in Natural Medicine and a Masters Degree in Chiropractic. He is a former University lecturer in Anatomy and Physiology, and Remedial Massage and Myotherapy. He has a special interest in neuroscience, migraines, headaches, dizziness, vertigo and neck pain. With more than a decade of study, combined with years of experience in private practice (since 1996), and an intense interest in research, his aim is to achieve optimal results for everyone.

On the 1st April, 2019 many natural treatments were no longer recognised and rebated by private health insurers. Many of these treatments have poor (if any) research supporting them, but Naturopathy and Western Herbal Medicine have a considerable evidence base. The Hon Greg Hunt, Federal Minister for Health has announced that the Commonwealth Chief Medical Officer will conduct a review of natural treatments and private insurance rebates. This review will proceed regardless of the results of the upcoming Federal election.

Dr Gerard Keown has a Bachelor of Health Science (Naturopathy) and a Masters Degree in Chiropractic. Dr Gerard has completed more than a decade of tertiary studies, more than 2 decades in private practice, and has had research published in peer-reviewed, indexed literature.
