In a life threatening emergency you should call 000. However if the matter is urgent but not life threatening there are ways to take strain off 000, Ambulance Victoria and hospital emergency departments while still getting your kids the care they need.

There are two new respiratory clinics for children (aged 18 and under). These clinics are open from 6pm to 11pm and on weekends and are located at North Melbourne and Monash.

Hello Australia it’s time to get vaccinated!

Try as soon as you can, we have two really good and effective vaccines available.

We can’t stop locking down until nearly all of us are vaccinated, so if you have concerns then call your local GP for a Telehealth appointment to discuss.

Please follow the restrictions.

Please don’t attend public protests, this just makes things worse.

While Australia will hopefully be living a relatively normal life by Christmas this year, unfortunately healthcare workers won’t be, as they will have the job of caring for the unvaccinated who are going to become very sick.

Wear your mask properly, stay at home if you’re sick, get tested early.

Due to the current smoke conditions in Melbourne, MFB is calling on building managers to review their air handling systems and where possible, change settings so that air is recycled in the building, rather than being drawn from the air outside. Current smoky air quality may trigger the systems fire indicator panel.

There’s no excuse why we can’t achieve a target of 100% for bystander CPR

In the past decade bystander CPR rates have increased. The numbers prove it. More of you are stepping in to do CPR in a cardiac arrest emergency and more lives are being saved. The fact is, people who receive bystander CPR have a higher chance of survival.
