At Precise, we’re proud to collaborate with Flinders University, and through the Cooperative Research Centres Project (CRCP) to advance how we support people living with dysphagia.
Traditionally, dysphagia management has relied on a ‘one size fits all’ approach. But our latest research confirms that people with different swallowing disorders need tailored solutions.
🧪 Through this groundbreaking project, we’ve:
✔️ Studied 57 dysphagia patients
✔️ Identified 3 distinct swallowing phenotypes
✔️ Developed individualised treatment models
✔️ Shown how fluid texture directly impacts swallowing safety and function

With diagnostic tools like Swallow Gateway and bespoke thickened fluid profiles, we’re helping clinicians move toward a ‘test and treat’ model—delivering more effective, personalised outcomes.
