✨ What if you could enhance your smile… without shaving your teeth?
A lot of people think veneers = drill, shave, file.
But that’s not the only option.
There is a conservative approach where
your natural tooth stays almost untouched.
It’s called Prepless / Minimal Prep Veneers.
🌱 Instead of removing healthy tooth enamel,
a thin, custom-designed veneer is bonded over the tooth, preserving your natural structure.
Here’s what makes this approach different:
➤ The focus is on designing around your natural tooth
➤ The goal is protection, not destruction
Perfect for people who:
• Don’t want irreversible tooth removal
• Want to protect their enamel
• Want a natural, refined improvement not a “fake” look
✨ Sometimes the most beautiful smiles
are the ones that still have your natural tooth underneath.

Have you ever really looked at how your child breathes?
Even slightly open lips at rest mean air is entering the wrong way. It’s an easy detail to miss, but it can have a huge impact on sleep, growth, and even how their face and jaw develop.
The body is designed for nasal breathing, which:
✅ Filters allergens and bacteria before they reach the lungs
✅ Helps balance oxygen and carbon dioxide for better focus and energy
✅ Supports proper jaw and airway development by keeping the tongue in the right position
✅ Promotes deep, restful sleep by activating the diaphragm
When air enters through the mouth instead, it can lead to:
❌ Lower oxygen levels, causing fatigue, brain fog, and attention issues
❌ Increased congestion and allergies since air isn’t properly filtered
❌ Changes in jaw growth, leading to crowded teeth and bite issues
❌ A smaller airway, contributing to restless sleep and long-term health challenges
Since breathing patterns change as muscles relax during sleep, mouth breathing often goes unnoticed for years. But during that time, it’s shaping a child’s development in ways that become harder to reverse later.
The good news? This can be corrected.
Having your child professionally assessed for breathing and sleep quality is one of the most important steps you can take. It shows whether their body is truly in growth mode, or whether low oxygen during sleep could be a factor limiting their ability to grow while the window is still open

So why isn’t the airway the first thing we check?
Instead of jumping straight to labels and medication, imagine if every child with attention, behaviour, or learning difficulties was screened for:
👃 Nasal obstruction
😮 Mouth breathing
😴 Sleep quality
👉 Half of those kids might not have “ADHD” at all. They might just need to breathe better at night.

My journey into airway-focused dentistry didn’t start in a lecture hall it started at home.
Having watched my own son struggle with breathing, I’ve always been determined to find the root cause not just a quick fix. That journey took me deep into understanding sleep, airways, and tongue ties, and along the way I’ve met some truly incredible practitioners who share that same passion. 💚
About 10 years ago, I first heard Dr David McIntosh speak and I remember thinking, 'Finally, someone who truly gets it.'
Someone who doesn’t just look at ears, nose, and throat in isolation, but sees the whole child their airway, sleep, growth, and development and genuinely cares. 🥰
Since then, I’ve attended his lectures, followed his work closely, and been fortunate to learn from his mentorship.
When I eventually took my own son to see him, within minutes he pinpointed exactly what was going on and I thought, “Wow, he’s brilliant… takes one to know one!” 😄
It’s rare to meet someone so passionate, knowledgeable, and grounded someone who truly cares about long-term health, not just quick fixes.
A lot of people often ask me for airway focussed ENT recommendations and while there are some great ones out there, because I’ve personally followed his work and trusted him with my own son’s care, I can confidently say he’s one of the best. 👌
And those who know me… know I only go for the best. 😉 - Dr Rachna Yadav

🧠📉 Should parents be warned that untreated sleep apnea can affect their child’s IQ and growth?
When a child’s airway is blocked at night:
• Brain development suffers due to poor oxygen and sleep disruption
• Physical growth can slow because deep sleep drives growth hormone release
• Behaviour and learning are impacted, sometimes mislabelled as “attention problems”
Ignoring sleep apnea isn’t harmless—it can change a child’s future.
💡 Early recognition and treatment can make a lifelong difference.

As an airway dentist (and a mum), nothing feels better than hearing: “She doesn’t snore anymore.” - Dr Rachna Yadav
Thats why every child deserves regular dental , myofunctional and airway check-ups .
When parents hear “dental check-up,” most think it’s just about checking teeth. Magical Smiles it’s so much more. 💫
When little Sienna came in, her mum was worried about her snoring. After a thorough check-up, we made a plan and just a few months later, her jaw has developed beautifully, her teeth are aligning naturally, and most importantly, she’s no longer snoring. She sleeps better, breathes easier, and with more oxygen at night, her development has taken off.
Our motto is simple: we don’t want kids to end up needing braces or fillings. The key lies in early, holistic check-ups.
As a dentist trained in orthodontics, myofunctional therapy, lasers, and sleep medicine and as a mum who has walked this journey with my own sons nothing is more rewarding than helping children breathe, sleep, and grow to their fullest potential.
