🟣Myth Vs Fact🟣

Myth: Good posture means sitting perfectly straight all day.

Fact: The best posture is one that changes regularly.

Holding any position for too long even “perfect posture” can lead to stiffness and discomfort. Alternating between sitting and standing, along with regular movement, helps reduce strain on muscles and joints.

At Live Well Health Centre, our practitioners help you understand how posture, movement habits, and muscle strength all work together to prevent pain.

Because every body is different and your care should be too.

❔Q&A Time❔

Q: Should I use ice or heat?

A: A simple tip we often share in the clinic:
❄️ Ice - Best for new injuries
Use within the first 24–72 hours to help reduce swelling, inflammation, and pain (think sprains, strains, or flare-ups).

🔥 Heat - Best for tight or ongoing pain
Great for relaxing muscles, improving circulation, and easing stiffness (perfect for chronic aches or muscle tension).

When in doubt, ice for acute injuries and heat for ongoing tightness.

Karolina, Emily & Mary headed to the Clinic Mastery Summit - learning from some of the best in the industry 🙌

Clinic Mastery focuses on helping clinics run smarter, not harder - from building strong teams to creating systems that actually support growth.

It’s not just about being busy… it’s about being better.

We’re bringing back fresh ideas, new strategies, and plenty of inspiration to keep improving what we do every day 💡

Because great care starts with a great team.

🟣Myth Vs Fact🟣

Myth: You should stop moving if you have back pain.

Fact: The right movement actually helps recovery.

Staying completely still for long periods can cause muscles to stiffen and weaken, which may make pain worse over time.

Gentle, controlled movement helps keep joints mobile, improves circulation, and supports the healing process.

At Live Well Health Centre, our practitioners assess your specific condition and guide you through the right movements and exercises to help you recover safely.

Because every body is different and your care should be too.

📢 Clinic News 📢

Last week, Karolina attended - an interactive seminar exploring the future of clinical documentation with our AI scribe, Heidi.

We’re only in the early stages of implementing Heidi in the clinic, but we’ve already seen significant gains in both time efficiency and reduced cognitive load.

This matters.

Because when clinicians spend less time on admin, they can redirect their focus where it truly belongs on patient care and their own wellbeing.

Administrative burden is one of the biggest contributors to burnout in healthcare. It pulls clinicians away from the work they’re trained for and passionate about.

Technology like this isn’t just about efficiency it’s about sustainability in healthcare careers.

We genuinely believe tools like Heidi will help clinicians:
• Stay present with their patients
• Reduce mental fatigue
• Continue doing the work they love for longer, and better

Exciting to be part of this shift.
