Goose (📸handsome black and white cat) and Peach (📸beautiful girl pictured with nurse Nat) recently came into VSS Carrara for our Blood Donation screening with the Gold Coast Animal Blood Bank team. Both cats were wonderful during their blood screening. These beautiful cats will join our donor team, helping us to save the lives of many other feline friends.

💉We Need Blood Donors - Dogs and Cats💉

The Gold Coast Animal Blood Bank - located at VSS Carrara - is looking for more donors - both cats and dogs. If you have a healthy pet who you think could be a donor 'hero', we'd love to hear from you. Every day in hospital, our donors' blood saves the lives of our critical patients - blood is an invaluable gift in our hospital.

Could your pet be a hero? Criteria:
💉Healthy and fully vaccinated
💉No prior blood transfusions
💉Calm and friendly
💉1-7 years old
💉Local to the Gold Coast
💉Canine donor - over 25kg
💉Feline donor - over 4.5kg
