🌼 March is Endometriosis Awareness Month 🌼
Endometriosis affects 1 in 9 women, yet many continue to suffer in silence or experience delays in diagnosis. This condition occurs when tissue similar to the lining of the uterus grows outside the uterus, which can cause chronic pelvic pain, painful periods, fatigue, and fertility challenges.
At St Mary Medical Centre, we want to help raise awareness and encourage anyone experiencing ongoing pelvic pain, heavy or painful periods, pain during in*******se, or unexplained fatigue to speak with their GP. These symptoms are not something you should have to “just live with.”
Early recognition and the right support can make a huge difference in managing symptoms and improving quality of life.
💛 If you’re experiencing symptoms or have concerns, our doctors are here to listen and help guide you through the next steps.
