Meet our wonderful team of volunteers at Windara! They meet monthly and are currently busy planning Kids Bingo and our Mother's Day event. ♥️

When asked what was best about being a volunteer, they said "We love coming to Windara and meeting with the clients, as well as working with an amazing group of women and seeing all of the changes at Windara".

Our volunteers do such incredible work, and we couldn't be more grateful for their ongoing support! ⭐️

Achieve Australia is inviting our Northern Rivers network to a free information session on accessing Specialist Disability Accommodation (SDA) funding, presented by Greg Barry, Founder and Principal Consultant at SDA Services.

This session is designed to give practical, easy-to-understand guidance on:
- who may be eligible for SDA
- how the funding pathway works
- the evidence that strengthens an application
- common delays and mistakes to avoid
- time for questions.

There will be two sessions on offer on Tuesday 21 April 2026 at Windara, 253 Sextonville Rd, Casino NSW 2470:

⏰ Morning session: 10:30am – 11:45am
⏰ Evening session: 5:00pm – 6:15pm

The Achieve team will also share a short overview of our local services across the Northern Rivers, including Independent Living and supported employment at Windara.
