Tonight’s line up:

Roast meat 🍗
Crispy potatoes 🥔
Peas + asparagus 🥦

Simple. Balanced. Filling.

You don’t need fancy recipes or perfect macros.

You need:
✔ Protein
✔ Colour on the plate
✔ Something you’ll actually eat

At WeFlex, we talk about food the same way we talk about movement.

Keep it practical.
Keep it consistent.
Keep it realistic 💪

Because strong bodies aren’t built on extremes.
They’re built on repeatable habits 🔥

Sounds simple.

But most people don’t breathe properly.

When things feel overwhelming…
When your heart rate is up…
When focus drops…

Start here.

Slow inhale through your nose for 4.
Hold for 4.
Slow exhale for 6.

Do that for one minute.

Breathing is a tool.
For regulation.
For focus.
For strength. 💪

We use simple strategies like this in sessions all the time. Movement isn’t just physical. It’s nervous system work too 💚

Such an important question. And we love when families ask it 💚

All WeFlex trainers hold standard fitness qualifications (Cert III / IV or equivalent).

But we don’t stop there.

Every trainer also completes our WeFlex Academy training - built around disability inclusion and developed with input from people with lived experience.

That means:
✔ Ongoing upskilling
✔ Support from our internal team
✔ Learning how to adapt sessions safely
✔ Person-by-person programming

Because qualifications matter.
But understanding people matters more. 🤝

We’re big on standards.
And even bigger on support. 💪

Curious about what a trainer’s experience looks like in your area or for your plan? Send us a message and we’ll walk you through it 💚

This is what real progress looks like.
Not flashy.
Not dramatic.
Just turning up and doing the work.

At WeFlex, every session is structured around the participant’s goals and ability 💚

✔ Strength
✔ Control
✔ Confidence
✔ Independence

One rep at a time.

Proud of this standard. Proud of this effort 🔥

You do NOT need:
❌ Abs
❌ Fancy gym gear
❌ A “before photo”
❌ To give up snacks forever

You do need:
✔ A starting point
✔ A bit of consistency
✔ The right support
✔ Maybe a cheeky snack now and then 😄

At WeFlex, we’re not chasing magazine covers.

We’re building:
Confidence 💚
Capability 💪

Strong enough to back yourself.

Exercise Physiology… but make it practical. 💪

At WeFlex, our Accredited Exercise Physiologists use evidence-based movement to support real-life outcomes.

Not just workouts. But helping you:

💚 Move more comfortably
💪 Build strength safely
🏃 Improve everyday function
😊 Feel more confident in your body

It’s all about creating a plan that works for you and supports your goals, whether that’s getting stronger, improving mobility or simply feeling better day to day. Because movement should help you live life, not make it harder. NDIS funded options may be available depending on your individual plan.

7:39pm.
Still showing up.

This is what commitment looks like.

Big credit to for guiding this session and pushing standards the right way 👏

Pull ups aren’t easy.
They take grip strength.
Back strength.
Core control.
And consistency.

But this isn’t just about the exercise.

It’s about building:
✔ Confidence
✔ Discipline
✔ Physical capability
✔ Mental resilience

At WeFlex, strength training isn’t about ego. It’s about progress.

Every session is tailored to the participant’s ability and goals, with proper coaching and supervision to ensure movements are safe and appropriate.

Strong work tonight 🔥

Not everyone avoids movement because they’re unmotivated. Sometimes there’s something deeper going on underneath.

In this video, WeFlex behaviour specialist Erika Gleeson breaks down a few of the most common reasons we see participants avoid exercise or movement and why curiosity always works better than pressure.

Erika has spent more than 16 years supporting neurodivergent people and their families across Australia and the UK. She’s the founder of Autism Swims, internationally accredited through IABA, holds a Grad Cert in Autism Studies and a BA in Behavioural Science and has been recognised with an Order of Australia Medal.

At WeFlex we believe movement support should be guided by real expertise and evidence-informed understanding, not guesswork.

If you support someone who struggles with movement, this conversation is an important one.

Watch the video and let us know what stands out to you 💬🤝

Follow for more practical, neuroaffirming insights each week.

What have you noticed helps someone you support feel safer starting movement? 💬 If you’ve got questions for Erika, drop them below. She’ll be answering as many as she can across our posts each week ⚡🧠✨

Dodging “witches hats.”
Practising controlled braking.
Learning smooth, confident turns.

What looks like a bike ride… is actually purposeful Active Support work.

is doing what he does best here. Not just personal training. Not just “go for a ride.”

He’s building coordination.
He’s building independence.
He’s building real world confidence, one skill at a time.

This is the difference.

Active Support means we use movement as the vehicle but the outcome is much bigger. It’s about safety awareness, decision making, control, resilience and pride in progress.

For some participants, that’s lifting weights in a gym.
For others, it’s mastering bike skills in the community.

Same standard.
Same coaching.
Same intention.

Important note: All activities are tailored to the participant’s ability, goals and safety needs. Skills like riding on paths or near roads are only introduced when someone is ready and properly supported.

Proud of this progress. Proud of the coaching.

If you’re looking for Active Support that actually feels active, let’s chat 💚
