Hills Yoga has been offering yoga, meditation and kids yoga to the Hills community since 1999. We offer Hatha, Iyengar, Yin and Flow classes suitable for all levels of practice, from beginners to experienced students. The studio is conveniently located in the heart of Castle Hill and is fully equipped for the convenience of our students. Our teachers are highly qualified with years of teaching and practice. We recognise that we are all different and students are encouraged to work at their own level keeping their awareness inwards so as to develop inner connection. As students deepen their practice self- correction is encouraged in view of becoming in charge of ones own practice and developing self-mastery.

GREAT PRACTICE THIS WEEK using the ropes for our seniors classes. Huge benefits such as taking the load off limbs, decompressing the spine, creating space, creating traction and deeper stretch, allowing longer hold in the pose hence having more time to focus on alignment and working into the pose.... all this with tremendous amount of support🙂

With regular practice, our seniors continue to enjoy better mobility, balance and vitality. If you'd like to join us and are new to yoga our Monday class will introduce safe, structured yoga practice to build confidence and physical resilience. If you have some yoga experience our Thursday session will be most suitable.

YOGA FOR ACTIVE SENIORS — Keep Moving, Stay Strong!💪

If you’re looking for a dynamic yet supportive yoga practice — one that helps maintain strength, mobility, and balance as you age — you’ll feel right at home in our studio.

Our Yoga for Seniors is not chair yoga or seated exercises. It’s for active adults 60+ who are healthy, mobile, and want to stay that way.

We’ve been teaching yoga to seniors for over 10 years, and our classes are led by a highly experienced teacher who understands how to adapt the practice for aging bodies - including those managing arthritis.

We use props like the wall, chairs, and ropes to protect joints and support alignment, but we move, stretch, and build strength from the ground up. We do a lot of standing and balancing poses to keep our legs strong, we move all our joints to maintain good range of movements. We do belly work for core strength and protect our backs, we do relaxation and breathing.

🌞 Suitable for those who are functional and mobile

🌞 Ideal if walking or sitting isn’t enough for you

🌞 Offered in 3 levels:
– Beginners (for those new to yoga)
– Level 1 (some yoga experience)
– Experienced (long-term students)
