Kylie told us about the music she enjoyed the most and explained what Rock n Rollers provides with accessible events and various social groups. After a music break, we discussed more existing groups as well as learning life skills and the community garden in the works at present.
Kylie touched on how people can get involved then spoke about Dating with a Disability, a wonderful service they offer. Lastly, the website where people can look at what’s available and to book tickets for shows and music events.

This week Sean had a chat with Jake from CME Physiotherapy. We talked about Jake growing up in Canberra, playing in bands, living on a farm, and how he studied at Canberra University. What also talked about what physios do when learning to be a physio, the wide range of what physios do, the areas Jake works in, his business and some stories of success for people he has worked with.

This week Bec spoke with Emma and found out what got her into Speech Pathology, learnt more about her role and what it involves, the type of clients she has assisted and then chatted about working at IBIS (Illawarra Brain Injury Service).
We touched on Speech Pathology Week and Brain Injury Week which happened to fall at the same time, Emma let us know the things she likes to do away from the office and shared some great insights with our listeners.
