🍂 Wild Birds – Autumn Edition is here!

We’re excited to invite young people to our upcoming Wild Birds Art Therapy Group, a creative space where kids and teens can slow down, connect, and explore who they are through art.

Guided by our art therapist Imojjen, participants will engage in a gentle autumn-themed creative prompt designed to encourage reflection on strengths, supports, and personal growth. This group is a lovely opportunity for young people to create, reflect, and connect with others in a warm and supportive space.

Joanna and Josie recently had the joy of partnering with Parramatta Baptist Church to support and equip their youth leaders with neuroaffirming approaches to youth ministry. It was a privilege to contribute to such thoughtful and compassionate leadership, helping create spaces where neurodivergent young people can feel understood, supported, and truly welcome. 💙

✨ Crafty Birds is growing… and we love it. ✨

Because our Creative Therapy evenings have been filling so quickly, we’re now running two Crafty Birds groups each month to make space for more of you to join us.

Our next group is next week, and there are still a few seats available, but they won’t last long.

Crafty Birds is a gentle creative therapy group for adults faciulitated by our art therapist Imojjen and one of our psychologists. Each session offers:

🎨 Guided art-making (no artistic experience needed)
🧠 Thoughtful psychological reflection woven in naturally
💬 Meaningful conversation and authentic connection
☕ Tea, coffee, and a calm, welcoming atmosphere
🌿 A nurturing space to slow down and simply be

This month’s theme, 'The Unknown & Accepting What We Can and Can’t Control', is an invitation to explore uncertainty with curiosity rather than pressure.

If you’ve been thinking about coming, this is your nudge.
If you’ve been craving creative time that also nourishes your inner world, this space is for you.
