Jane Mallick is a dedicated and passionate yogini who has been practicing yoga for almost forty years. After a successful career in social health research and educational studies, she found herself at a midlife health crisis point, and turned to feminine yoga for healing. She is inspired by the divine feminine to share the teachings that have helped her, by supporting women, many of whom find themselves in similar midlife transitions, to create a life of ease, grace and full potential.

Ahhh what a beautiful close to teaching for me this year!

It’s been a full year with so many divine classes, workshops and retreats

I am eternally grateful for my students. Without you, I wouldn’t be here!

I’m taking an early holiday… to get away before the holiday season. Yay. Beach and nature to refill my cup.

I’ll be back sharing many lovely events in January.

Watch out for my seasonal newsletter going out soon with all my summer offerings.

I’ll also be sharing a free relaxing yoga nidra practice from my lunar yoga courses, perfect to keep you calm through the end of year busyness.

And for those of you wanting to come to Term one Lunar Yoga classes, bookings are now open.

I remember when I was in my 20's and 30's hearing that women are better at multi-tasking than men.

I often see women wearing this ability like a badge of honour. Multiple projects, endless to-do lists, several conversations happening at once. I remember I was good at it. The capable one. The woman who could hold it all.

Then peri-menopause arrived, and my brain and body said: no more!

I hear many women struggle with this. They often express that they feel broken that their sharpness has gone? And why can't they juggle like they used to?

What I've come to understand is that my body wasn't failing me. It was teaching me.

Multitasking keeps us in sympathetic nervous system overdrive. It fragments our attention, scatters our energy, and asks us to be everywhere except present in the now, and in our lives.

Menopause has invited me to let it go. To say 'no' more often. To set boundaries I'd never dared set before. To choose one thing, and do it with presence.

What a relief it's been.

Now I move more slowly. I focus on what truly matters. And ironically? I get more done, with far less depletion.

What's your experience with multitasking? Do you think that it it expected of you?

Has menopause change your relationship with multi-tasking?

I'd love to hear your story. 💭

I'm evolving my menopause yoga offerings and would love to hear from YOU:

Where you are in your journey, what challenges you are facing, and what kind of support would feel most nourishing.

It is a confidential survey, as I deeply respect your journey and your privacy.

The survey is open to women in all stages of the menopause transition: pre, to peri to post menopause.

In this 6-8 minute survey is my way of listening to what you need. There is also the option to have a more in-depth chat.

And as a heartfelt thank you, everyone who completes the survey will receive a $35 gift voucher to use on any of my 2026 workshops, courses, or retreat

Your wisdom and experience will help shape services and support that serve this sacred passage for women.

You can find the link in the comments below.

With gratitude, Jane ✨

These powerful words from Germaine Greer's seminal book 𝑇ℎ𝑒 𝐶ℎ𝑎𝑛𝑔𝑒: 𝑊𝑜𝑚𝑒𝑛, 𝐴𝑔𝑒𝑖𝑛𝑔 𝑎𝑛𝑑 𝑡ℎ𝑒 𝑀𝑒𝑛𝑜𝑝𝑎𝑢𝑠𝑒 (𝟣𝟫𝟫𝟣) still resonate deeply today, perhaps even more so.

In a world that often wants women to stay forever young, Greer reminds us that this transition is not something to rush past or hide from.

It is a threshold worth honouring.

And her words 'On these years depends the rest of your life, a life that may be as long as the life you've already lived' are a profound reminder that how we navigate our menopause transition has long-term impacts on our health and wellbeing into the second half of our lives.

What if, instead of obscuring or denying this natural passage, we chose to embrace it with curiosity, wisdom, and grace?

This is the invitation of menopause yoga and the feminine practices I share Tara Springs Retreat Centre

Afternoon Sanctuary 🌙 Mid-afternoon Yoga Nidra in the garden studio has become my non-negotiable these past few days.

Between teaching, running Tara Springs, and navigating the pressures we're all feeling in these intense times, my nervous system was screaming for deep rest.

This Dark Moon phase (New Moon tomorrow! ✨) is calling me into profound stillness.

And this Manta eye mask I discovered through recent professional development on yoga and dreamingis amazing! It blocks out ALL the light, allowing me to drop into that liminal space between waking and sleeping where true restoration happens.

Sometimes the most radical thing we can do is lie down and consciously rest.

If your body is asking for this kind of deep replenishment, listen. The to-do list will still be there. But you'll meet it with a regulated nervous system and renewed energy.

What does your body need today under this Dark Moon?

Do you struggle with brain fog or find multitasking harder than it used to be? 🧠✨

Many women in the menopause transition can go through a phase of forgetting why we walked into a room, loose our train of thought mid-sentence, or fear something is seriously wrong.

Although we might feel broken, we are not! Our body is actually showing us something important.

In my new blog releasing next week, I share my personal journey with brain fog, the hidden neurological cost of our modern lifestyle, and some practical strategies to support your cognitive health through menopause.

I’ve been a bit quiet on social media lately... but not idle!

I’ve been doing some deep work behind the scenes: reviewing where I’ve been, visioning where I’m going, and tending to the foundations of my business.

Heading into a quiet December with some camping time before a busy January full of beautiful events.

Watch out for:
✨ My end of year newsletter landing in your inbox soon
✨ A new menopause yoga blog
✨ A market research survey about YOUR menopause journey. I really want your input to shape future events and offerings

Sometimes we need to step back to move forward with clarity.

Movement is medicine — for your body, your mind, your hormones, and your heart.

And yoga can be your daily dose of healing.

Whether it’s ten minutes or one hour, your mat is always ready and waiting.

💕 Tammy's words warm my heart!

After 40 years of practicing yoga and 12 years of teaching, I'm deeply committed to creating experiences that honour the ancient wisdom of the goddess traditions while making them accessible and relevant for modern women.

The Goddess Yoga immersions are more than workshops. They are journeys into the sacred feminine, where we explore the qualities and teachings of the goddesses through movement, ritual, chanting, and deep reflection.

I believe we all carry these divine feminine energies within us, and when we gather in circle to awaken and embody them, something truly magical happens.

If you've been curious about Goddess Yoga, I'd love to welcome you to our beautiful garden studio at Tara Springs.

Our Summer Goddess Yoga workshop on January 17 will be particularly special, with guest facilitator Jacqui Dreessen joining us to offer Garba Dance as we explore the Mahavidya Wisdom Goddesses. 🌸

🌱 Spring Yin Yoga: Dragon Pose for Wood Element 🌱

As Spring is still with us, it is a perfect time to focus on balancing the Wood element, which governs the Liver and Gall Bladder meridians.

One powerful yin yoga pose for this is Dragon Pose. It is a deep hip opener that targets the inner thighs and groin, helping to release tension stored in these areas.

When we add Kali Tongue to the pose, a fierce expression of sticking out the tongue, it allows us to release pent-up anger, a common emotion that arises when the Wood element is out of balance.

Letting go and releasing this stagnant energy, we create space for growth, creativity, and renewal, just like the blossoming trees around us.
