I have been an Enrolled Nurse most of my working life and have a caring, empathetic nature and a keen eye for the subtle cues of patient pain, upset and discomfort - which I am now using in my work with dogs. Previously I worked in a small dog grooming salon where I mainly washed and dried the dogs, cleaned their ears, brushed them out and assisted the groomer. I loved this work and noticed how much the dogs liked my massage-like washing technique, and it has now led me to study dog massage. I own a Pug and really have a love and understanding of that breed but would be open to massaging all small to medium working dogs and companion animals. I have studied Canine Myofunctional Therapy (CMT) at the National College of Traditional Medicine in Victoria. http://nctm.com.au
