Pulse Day Workshop – Melbourne Classical Acupuncturists
I have two spots left for my small, intimate Pulse Day Workshop on Sunday 30th November in Armadale.
This day is a collaborative, heart-centred exploration of pulse work — between practitioners, and with the patients who generously attend.
What the Day Looks Like
A small group of practitioners gather to hold space as invited patients come in for a pulse reading.
Together we:
*Take each patient’s pulse and write everything we find
*Explore different interpretations and ways of understanding the pulse
*Discuss what the pulse is indicating about the person in front of us
*Share treatment approaches, insights, and practitioner wisdom
The slow, spacious format allows patients to feel safe, held, and deeply seen — and in that openness, the pulse reveals more. Practitioners often leave with a renewed sense of just how much information the pulse can offer when given time and presence.

About Me
I’m Johannah Ashley, a classical acupuncture practitioner with 23 years’ experience. About eight years ago I discovered the Complement Channels, and they completely reshaped my practice.
In recent years I’ve been teaching and facilitating workshops to support practitioners who feel called toward this deeper, more embodied style of work.
My focus is on:
*Heart-centred, grounded clinical practice
*Practitioner support and community
helping practitioners navigate the shift into a new way of working
offering mentorship, guidance, and space to grow.
Stepping into a different tradition can feel overwhelming — but doing it with community makes all the difference.
