We had a fun night on Friday night celebrating the NT Health Allied Health Excellence awards at Parliment House.

I was very honoured to be nominated and fortunate enough to be awarded the "Excellence in Research or Quality Improvement" award! My research is exploring the use of an occupational therapy assessment to assess functional cognition with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples in the Northern Territory.

Thank you to my wonderful team for your support and patience with my research. I am lucky to have such a great team of OT's (Sara and Jess) and our new therapy assistant (Tanni).

We also had the lovely Yolande from Commatters Speech Therapy join us to celebrate!
