Sometimes when we’re working on improving a client’s health, we expect to see progress with nutrition, lifestyle, and targeted supplements.

But occasionally… things don’t shift as expected. That’s when deeper investigation becomes helpful.

In clinic, I may recommend functional testing to help us understand what could be happening beneath the surface.

One of the tests I sometimes use is Hair Tissue Mineral Analysis (HTMA).

• Don’t skip protein at suhoor
• Hydrate intentionally
• Reduce caffeine gradually
• Avoid turning iftar into an inflammatory overload
• Protect your sleep where possible

Ramadan can be a reset... not just spiritually, but physiologically.

And when the nervous system feels safe, everything improves: digestion, hormones, mood, and resilience.
