How do you begin to settle into your massage?

Before the techniques and before the muscles respond to my touch, it starts with something much simpler ~ Your breath.

Noticing your breath is one of the most powerful ways to shift your body out of “doing” mode and into “receiving.”

As you lie on the table, gently bring your awareness to your inhale… and your exhale.

No need to change it, just notice it.

With each breath, your nervous system begins to slow. Your body starts to feel safe. And that’s where the real work begins.

You can not force deep rest.

Safety is what softens the jaw.
Safety is what slows the breath.
Safety is what allows your body to shift from survival mode into restoration.
