You don’t need to earn rest.
You don’t need to finish everything on the list before rest.
You don’t need to be more exhausted to justify it.
Carving out time purely for you isn’t indulgent ~ it’s regulating.
When you intentionally create space where nothing is required of you, your nervous system gets the message:
I’m safe.
I’m supported.
I can soften.
And from that place…
You parent differently.
You partner differently.
You work differently.
You feel more like yourself again.
Start small this week.
20 minutes. A slow walk. A quiet tea. A massage where you don’t have to hold it all together.
Your body is always listening.
