Haylee Parfett is a Certified Practising Speech Pathologist (CPSP) with Speech Pathology Australia, and Director of Haylee Parfett Speech Pathology. Haylee has been based in special schools and specialised Early Intervention Centres in Australia and the UK for the past 15 years and has developed a strong interest in Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) and working with children and young people who have Autism. Haylee Parfett Speech Pathology supports a wide range of children and young people with communication, speech, language, swallowing, behavioural, social and literacy difficulties. We strongly belief that every individual has the right to communicate and has the potential to be an active learner and contributor to their home and community environments. We are dedicated to putting the appropriate evidence based best practices in place to ensure each of our clients reaches their full potential. We value collaborative practices and engage all family members, school communities and other professionals in our interventions. Haylee Parfett Speech Pathology is available for appointments on Monday - Friday throughout 2022. We operate out of clinical rooms in Croydon but predominantly offer home, kinder and school visits within the Eastern suburbs of Melbourne. Haylee also provides training and consultancy to local and interstate Special Schools on AAC and Creating Communication Accessible School Environments. A mentoring service is also now available to people who have attended one of Haylee's workshops and would like ongoing support and guidance in their implementation of PODD and other AAC strategies.
