From the 1st November 2025 we are now 100% bulk billing all GP consultations for all Medicare card holding patients.

Westcott Street Medical Centre is looking for a friendly dietician to join our team 2-3 times a month (with more days offered depending on demand). You will be given a handover from our current dietician who is sadly leaving us to focus on other areas of her business. We are a fully bulk billed practice and would like to keep our dietician appointments mainly bulk billed with the option to privately bill patients depending on their circumstance. Dr Luckmini Jayasinghe and Dr Susantha Abeysinghe will be on leave from 9th April, returning to the practice on Monday 29th April 2024.

Dr Meegama focus in medicine is centred on building strong rapport with her patients to help them achieve optimal health outcomes that would impact their lives in a positive way.

Dr Meegama enjoys all aspects of general practice including general medicine, women’s health, diabetes and endocrinology, elderly care and paediatrics.

Dr Meegama can speak English and Sinhalese. She works as a full time GP at our clinic.

• All patients registered with My Medicare in our practice (no age category).
