Remedial Rhythmic Massage is a therapeutic treatment that combines evidence-based remedial massage with rhythm, mindfulness, and gentle energetic awareness to support both physical release and deep relaxation.

This approach is ideal if you’re feeling out of balance on multiple levels — physically tense, mentally overactive, or simply in need of a reset. It is also a supportive option for those seeking a slower, more integrated massage experience.

What makes Rhythmic Massage different:
• The session is guided by slow, steady rhythm designed to support nervous-system regulation and a sense of safety.
• Predictable movement and pressure help the body settle and release holding patterns.
• A shamanic-style drumbeat is used to support deep relaxation and inward focus; the session is otherwise held in silence, aside from essential communication.
• Firm, remedial pressure is used throughout. This is not a light massage — areas of tension are worked thoroughly and may involve a “good hurt” that many clients find relieving.*
• Gentle rocking and rhythmic movement can evoke a sense of being safely held, supporting relaxation and embodiment.
• Emotional responses can occasionally arise when the body relaxes deeply. This is a normal response, and support is available if you’d like to briefly talk afterward.
• The session concludes with a short, chakra-balancing integration that can be done in silence, or I can share what I am seeing.

Meditation Saturday mornings? Retreat?

I've attached here a clip that most closely resembles what I teach (Zen), and my direct experience of meditation.

Of all the healing modalities I share, it is my belief that this one is the single most helpful; just not the easiest. Eventually everything leads here, to you sitting here, now, with your stories, pains, attachments, beliefs, pleasures and frustrations. And they are right here, inside - where else can they possibly be? Yet many of us are seeking healing out there...

Think on that for a moment.

At some point in the next few months I'll run a retreat. Retreats have been such a powerful experience for me, I can't not share them! They will only be open to people that visit these meditation sessions, however, as they are too intense to just dive straight into. So please express your interest by being a bum on a cushion at Waters Meet on a Tuesday night or Saturday morning. 🩵🙏

Loving these cards this week.

In moving more into counselling (where my heart truly beats) I've been curious about what's been working well. These cards have definitely been rocking some great insights for people.

They offer a simple way of opening up conversation, finding a focus, getting to tricky parts, suggesting a path forward, honouring all our parts, and offering an opportunity for profound growth.

They are based around Radical Acceptance. A model that just sees what is without judgment. When I turn over a card, if I had a dollar for every time a client looks at me mildly sticken with "Is that bad?" ... But the whole point here is to go beyond the duality of good/bad, right/wrong and ask how the archetype is serving you on your journey of self-actualisation and growth.

I love working with a broad range of people, but in particular the neuro-spicey's, LGBTAIQ+, teens, people with a significant nature deficit disorder (that's a joke), healers, ascension/kundalini awakening issues (also psychedelic integration).

My lived experience isn't with trauma or significant mental health issues, it is with the trials and tribulations of a rough kundalini awakening, and the passion I feel around this much misunderstood process. You're not broken, you don't need a label, you are weird - but in a good way! And you likely just need guidance, reassurance, love and courage.
