Job Title: Mental Health / Disability Support Worker (Casual)
Location: Newcastle, Maitland, Lake Macquarie
Award: SCHADS Award
About the Role:
We are seeking a motivated and energetic female support worker to provide engaging and proactive support to children, pre-teens, and teens. This casual role offers a rewarding opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of young people in the community.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide person-centred support to children and young people with mental health or disability needs.
Engage participants in meaningful activities that promote independence, wellbeing, and social development.
Work collaboratively with families, carers, and the broader support team.
Maintain accurate records and report progress as required.
Requirements:
Experience working with children, pre-teens, and teens is essential.
Ability to provide energetic, engaging, and proactive support.
Current Working With Children Check (NSW) and National Police Check.
NDIS Worker Check
First Aid and CPR certification preferred.
Reliable, flexible, and able to work casual shifts across Newcastle, Maitland, and Lake Macquarie.
