Things you can ask a trauma specialist if you’re wondering whether it’s ADHD…or survival mode:

“Do I struggle to focus…or do I struggle to feel safe?”

“Am I forgetful… or is my nervous system overloaded?”

“Do I interrupt because my brain moves fast… or because I learned I had to fight to be heard?”

“Is this hyper-independence… or executive dysfunction?”

“Did I always have these traits as a child… or did they begin after chronic stress, burnout, relationships, or trauma?”

“Do I lose motivation… or does my body shut down when things feel emotionally overwhelming?”

“Am I lazy… or have I spent years functioning in survival mode?”

Sometimes ADHD and trauma overlap.
Sometimes they amplify each other.

Either way, you want a trauma trained professional to be the one to assess you.

We only have 6 rooms left for the Returning Home IFS retreat in Ireland this October with the one and only Kay Gardner - one of the founding mothers of Internal Family Systems therapy.

Join us for a deeply transformative retreat as we gently explore generational trauma (Legacy Burdens) through one of the most powerful and compassionate approaches we have witnessed.

This work moves beyond insight alone. It creates space for unburdening the beliefs, emotions, roles, and protective patterns that may have been passed down for generations.

Through the lens of Internal Family Systems, we begin to understand that many of the parts we judge, fear, or try to fix were shaped long before us. And when approached with curiosity, compassion, and Self-energy, healing becomes possible — not only for ourselves, but for the systems we belong to.

This retreat is for those feeling called to:
✨ Understand repeating emotional and relational patterns
✨ Explore inherited shame, fear, perfectionism, guilt, or hyper-responsibility
✨ Deepen connection to Self-energy and inner leadership
✨ Experience IFS work in a safe, supported group space
✨ Release what no longer belongs to them

Kay has curated the most beautiful and intentional process for working with Legacy Burdens, and we feel incredibly honoured to hold this experience alongside her.
There is something profoundly healing about realising:
you were never broken -
some of your parts were simply carrying stories that began long before you.

Spots are limited.

Teen Talk

When teens feel safe and understood, instead of judged, they begin to open up.

There are so many misconceptions about teenagers. Behind the ‘challenging’ behaviours is often a young person navigating huge internal change, social pressure, identity formation and a nervous system working overtime.

Teens don’t need perfect parents. They need safe adults.
Someone who listens before fixing
Someone who stays curious instead of critical
Someone who asks, “What do you need right now?”

And sometimes, support looks like connecting them with a space where they can talk freely and feel understood.

Because when teens feel emotionally safe, growth follows.

If you’ve been feeling the pull to shift, to act, to trust yourself deeper, this is your invitation.

The Emergence is about stepping into that version of you.
The one who trusts. The one who chooses differently. The one who keeps going, even when it’s not linear.

SOUL SANCTUARY: THE EMERGENCE

What if nothing in your life is random…
and everything is guiding you toward who you’re here to be?

The moments that feel like blocks, confusion, or “it’s not working” - they’re not setbacks. They’re direction.

The Emergence is about learning how to see it differently.
To trust your path.
To take aligned action, even when it feels uncertain.

Because you’re not becoming someone new.
You’re allowing who you are to lead.

✨ Interactive, reflective, and gently activating

📅 13th April
⏰ 6:30pm AEST

Meg shares how a growth mindset is really about shifting perspective.

When something isn’t working, it’s not the end — it’s an invitation to look for another way.
Pause. Pivot. Find the alternative.

Fighting doesn’t have to mean breaking things. It can be how you build them.

A healthy argument isn’t about winning, blaming, or proving a point. It’s about understanding, repair, and staying on the same team even when it’s hard.

Fighting right looks like slowing down instead of escalating.
It looks like listening to understand, not to respond.
It looks like taking responsibility for your part, even when you’re hurt.

Conflict isn’t the problem - disconnection is.
And sometimes, the way you come back together matters more than what you fought about in the first place.
