Last night we were delighted to host our information evening on Flexible Endoscopic Evaluation of Swallowing (FEES) in a collaborative ENT and Speech Pathology setting.
It was fantastic to see such a strong turnout of clinicians and to share discussion around multidisciplinary assessment, patient pathways and clinical collaboration. Thank you to everyone who attended and contributed to such an engaging and thoughtful evening.

This beautiful woman felt she looked tired all the time, and wanted a subtle refresh. She underwent a browlift and SMAS facelift. The individual technique should always be balanced with the patient’s goals and anatomy. SMAS-lifts, midface lifts, deep-plane facelifts all have their roles and their place; our surgical plan rested on the SMAS lift. She’s shown 6 months postoperatively, and we’re all thrilled with the results.

AProf Winters offers advanced rhinoplasty services addressing nasal breathing, structure, and appearance.

This gentleman presented several years after a motorcycle accident wishing to improve his nasal breathing and appearance. He wanted to look like his pre-injury self, and was especially concerned he not lose his masculine nasal appearance with surgery. This is a very important factor, and common concern, among male cosmetic surgery patients: maintaining (or enhancing) the masculine features of their appearance.

For World Swallowing Day, we’re helping raise awareness of swallowing challenges in children.
If your child coughs or chokes with drinks, avoids certain textures, or has frequent respiratory infections, a swallowing assessment may help.
Our paediatric ENT team works closely with the specialised speech pathologists at Let’s Eat- Feeding Therapy to support safe feeding and swallowing.

Rhinoplasty is complex! Aesthetic abnormalities can represent structural changes that can affect underlying function and breathing as well. A hanging columella, wherein the divider between the nostrils is overly prominent on the profile view, can represent malposition of the septum, as well as the overall architecture of the nasal tip. Correcting this can change the appearance of the nose, but also vastly improve breathing if this is the case. The lovely patient here is thrilled with her breathing and aesthetic results 6 months after surgery.

What a privilege to have worked with Healing the Children at Hospital Nacional Dos de Mayo in Lima, Peru, treating many patients with cleft lip, cleft palate, and other congenital facial anomalies. An incredible week of operating, collaborating, and teaching with Peruvian colleagues as well. Some patients traveled for days from remote areas of the Amazon to come to Lima, as facial plastic surgical services are not readily available in some parts of the country. Some patients also presented with very rare congenital anomalies such as a Tessier 7 cleft.
