We’re looking for a friendly, organised, and motivated Administration Assistant to join our Charters Towers team.

📍 Casual position – 20+ hours per week

As the first point of contact in our clinic, you’ll bring warmth, professionalism, and efficiency while supporting our clients, clinicians, and Practice Manager.

Key Duties

📍 Manage day-to-day reception tasks efficiently

Last night is one for the memory bank, Bodyfix winning Small Business of the Year and then followed by the Business of the Year at the Charters Towers Regional Council Business Excellence Awards is something that still feels very surreal — and there are so many people I need to thank for being part of the journey.

Firstly, thank you to all of the sponsors who support these awards and invest back into regional business. Events like this simply would not happen without your contribution and commitment to our community.

A huge thank you also to Charters Towers Regional Council for hosting an event that recognises and celebrates local businesses. Running a business in regional Queensland comes with its challenges, so having an opportunity to acknowledge the hard work, resilience, and innovation within our community is incredibly special.

To the entire BodyFix team, past and present, thank you. Over the last 18 years, we have always seemed to have the right people come into the business at exactly the right time for each stage of growth, project, and expansion. Every single person who has been part of BodyFix has contributed to shaping the business into what it is today.

What a huge weekend of netball! 🏐

A massive thank you to the Bodyfix crew (Emma, Stacey and Helly) for providing First Aid and strapping support across two very busy days.

Over the weekend we:
❄️ Issued 80 bags of ice
🩼Managed 4 suspected ACL injuries
🦶 Assisted with 1 fractured ankle
✋ Treated multiple finger injuries
🚑 Had 2 ambulance call-outs

We’re proud to support our local sporting community and help keep players safe and on the court where possible.

We hope everyone travels home safely. If you sustained an injury over the weekend, please don’t hesitate to reach out this week to book a follow-up appointment so we can properly assess, manage and support your recovery.

Thanks to the Charters Towers Netball Association for running such a great event. Very well organised from start to finish.

✨ BIG WINS FOR BEA ✨

What a journey this has been — and what an incredible result! 💪👏

Bea initially sustained a fracture to her right patella which required wire implants across her kneecap to stabilise the fractures. Following surgery, she spent 18 weeks in a brace with her knee locked at varying angles during the healing process.

Then came the exciting milestone… the brace finally came off! 🎉

However, due to surgical restrictions, Bea was unable to bend her knee past 90° until her second surgery on March 3rd to remove the wires. Unfortunately, her recovery was then further delayed after developing a staph infection in the surgical wound.

BUT despite every setback, Bea has shown incredible resilience and determination 💥

In just 21 days, Bea has:
✅ Doubled her quadriceps strength
✅ Reduced her Timed Up & Go result by 13 seconds
✅ Progressed to walking short distances outside unaided

We are so proud of the hard work, persistence and positivity Bea has brought to every session. Recovery isn’t always linear, but this is proof that consistency and determination pay off 🙌
