Electrical Apprenticeship

We are currently seeking applications for an Apprentice Electrician’s role at our Pajingo Operations.
It is essential that you are a motivated person who will approach tasks with a positive attitude and have a keen desire to learn. You must be physically fit and able to pass a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol test and obtain a full police clearance.

What will you be doing?
The apprentice electrician will commence the apprenticeship in our underground electrical workshop where you will undertake training (both practical and theoretical) leading to qualifications as an Electrician.

Are you the one?
It is essential that the successful applicants:
• Be over 18 years of age
• Possess a C Class Drivers Licence
• Be able to handle the physical nature of the position
• Have a genuine enthusiasm for the role
• Possess an excellent work ethic
• Have a good attendance and safety record
• Have the ability to think logically to solve problems
• Able to work effectively both as part of a team and independently without supervision

Site Administrator
Minjar Gold is seeking applications for an experienced Administrator to perform a variety of administrative tasks and manage Reception at our Pajingo Mine Operations. The role is a residential role based in Charters Towers working a 5/2, 4/3 roster.

Duties include:
• Provide reception duties
• Administer the online site inductions process
• Maintain office supplies and equipment
• Processing of invoices
• Provide support to the Senior HR Advisor
• Handle requests for information from employees
• Maintain electronic and hard copy filing system

Requirements:
• Previous experience working in an administrative capacity
• Strong communication skills both written and verbal
• Proven ability to produce work with a high level of accuracy and detail and manage a diverse range of activities in a time critical environment
• High level of experience working with MS Office (Outlook, Excel & Word in particular)
• Be able to work unsupervised & show initiative
• Demonstrate an excellent work ethic and confidentiality
• Possess a current driver’s licence
• Qualifications in business administration studies will be an advantage
