March is Endometriosis Awareness Month 💛

Around 1 in 7 women and people presumed female at birth born in 1973–78 were estimated to have been diagnosed with endometriosis by age 44–49.

A trans-vaginal ultrasound examination plays a critical role in identifying signs of endometriosis, guiding clinical decisions, and supporting earlier intervention and care.

This month, we recognise the importance of awareness, education, and access to high-quality imaging in improving outcomes for those living with endometriosis.

If you’d like to learn more about endometriosis, Dr Jason Mak, Alison Deslandes, and Katey Molenaar will present an online webinar on Acute Pelvic Pain and Endometriosis on 26 March at 7-8pm AEDT. Head to https://members.asum.com.au/EventDetail?EventKey=WEB260326 for more information 📝
