A reel watched, a post liked, a story that is gone in 24 hours.

And there is nothing wrong with any of that, it is just that sometimes you want something that stays. Something you can hold.

Can you relate to this?
Are there moments when you felt like it's not ok to stop and enjoy your life?
That need we often to be productive, all the flipping time is by design.
Oppressive and extractive systems don't want us to feel like we can ever stop, rest, experience joy and pleasure.
And these systems have become so effective that they don't even have to say anything now. We conform without even thinking about it.
We monitor and stop ourselves without anyone needing to say a thing.
This is like being in an abusive relationship and so many people are behaving like it's normal.
So your rest and your joy and your pleasure are all small acts of resistance.

Energetic sovereignty is something I’ve been working on a lot lately.

Becoming very discerning between what is mine and what is not. And bringing my focus and attention inward to gain clarity before I move forward.

It’s been the one thing that’s had the biggest impact on my own energy and expansion.

My darling Nuggie, we’ve reached the big 2-1! What a privilege it’s been watching you step fully into adulthood these past three years.

Remember when turning 18 felt like such a monumental threshold? Now here you are, navigating the world with even more grace and certainty. Your path since then has been anything but predictable – exactly as it should be for someone who’s always danced to her own beautiful rhythm.

This year especially, I’ve watched you embrace new challenges and experiences with that trademark quiet determination. The way you’ve been cultivating your independence while staying connected to what matters most shows a wisdom beyond your years.

Your capacity for joy remains infectious, but now there’s an added depth to your laughter – the kind that comes from knowing yourself more fully and embracing both your light and shadows.

Twenty-one brings with it new freedoms, new responsibilities, and endless possibilities. As you stand at this threshold, I’m filled with excitement for the adventures awaiting you – the people you’ll meet, the places you’ll explore, and the difference you’ll most certainly make through that unique Charlotte lens you bring to everything.
