A perfect Winter Warmer recipe 🍲

For more recipes, visit our website via the link in our bio 🍃

Ingredients:
✨2 Carrot (large, thinly chopped)
✨3 Garlic (clove, minced)
✨1 1/2 cups Dry Red Lentils (rinsed)
✨5 cups Vegetable Broth
✨2 tbsps Tomato Paste
✨2 tsps Curry Powder
✨2 tsps Ginger (fresh, minced)
✨1 1/2 cups Baby Kale
✨1/2 cup canned coconut milk
✨1 tsp lime juice (optional)

Directions:
1. Add the carrot, garlic, lentils, broth, tomato paste, curry powder, and ginger to a slow
cooker and stir to combine.

2. Cover and cook on low for six hours or on high for four hours.

3. Stir in the kale, coconut milk, and lime juice. Let it stand for five minutes, or until the kale
has wilted. Divide evenly into bowls and enjoy!

We all know the importance that protein plays in our diet. Protein is essential for muscle growth and recovery, metabolism regulation and to help you stay full for longer!

Here are some of our favourite foods to add to meals or eat separate to easily increase protein intake:

1. Eggs! Hard boiled eggs are great to eat on the go🥚

2. Cottage Cheese. Very high in protein and a great addition to any snack.

3. Protein powder. Add to a smoothie, oats or have alone with just water!

4. Chicken, turkey and lean beef. All great options to make the focus of each meal.

5. Quinoa. A great higher protein option over rice.

6. Tofu, lentils & beans. All great high protein plant based options to add to any meal.

Easy and healthy dinner option- a must try!

Ingredients:
🥘 1 1/2 tsps Extra Virgin Olive Oil
🥘3 cups Frozen Vegetable Mix
🥘1/2 cup Frozen Edamame
🥘340 grams Prawns (peeled, deveined)
🥘2 tbsps Coconut Aminos
🥘1 tbsp Raw Honey
🥘1 1/2 tsps Chili Flakes
🥘2 Garlic (clove, minced)
🥘2 tbsps Coriander

Directions:
1. Heat the oil in a pan over medium-high heat. Add the vegetable mix and edamame and sauté for about 10 minutes or until tender and browned. 

2. Add the prawns and cook for two to three minutes, stirring occasionally. In a small bowl, whisk together the coconut aminos, honey, chili flakes, and garlic to make the sauce. 

3. Add the sauce to the pan, stir, and simmer for three to four minutes. 

4. Remove from the heat and top with the coriander. Divide evenly between plates and 
enjoy!
