Welcome to 2026!

We are back onboard and this week is certainly putting on a warm show for summer! Good thing we have aircon running to help keep us all nice and cool.

Today and Friday are shaping up to be quite warm and with a lot of people still on holidays, our beautiful local beaches attract a few more people.

With our location right next to lovely Chelsea and Bonbeach beaches we also expect a little more traffic on Nepean highway and the streets adjoining over this week.

It may be prudent to plan a little more time in advance for parking just in case.

As an aside, in weather like this:
- Keep exercising outdoors to a minimum in the heat of the day. Wait until early morning or evening to ensure you stay safe.
- Check on vulnerable family members, friends or neighbours as this heat can make people quite unwell quite quickly.
- Children, the elderly and pets overheat much more quickly than adults, so keep an eye on their activities during the day.
- Make sure to reapply SPF50 sunblock to avoid serious sunburn as UV index is around 12 today.
- Keep fluid levels up and consider having a drink with electrolytes if you are sweating a lot during the day.

It would not be a Christmas week without a silly and impractical costume!

Thank you to all of our staff and patients for a wonderful 2025! We will be back in the clinic on the 5th of January 2026 as we take a much needed break to spend time with our loved ones and recharge our batteries! Please do note that our phones and emails will go unattended until we are back in the clinic.

We hope you all have a safe holiday break and ensure that you are all appropriately warmed up before engaging in a rousing game of Christmas backyard cricket or test out that new shiny toy!
