WINTER BLANKET DRIVE

❄️ As the freezing weather sweeps through, we are reminded again of those who are sleeping rough - MSFIN do an incredible job providing much needed resources for those in need

🏠 There are the record levels of homelessness and families sleeping without adequate warmth, so if you’re able to drop off a blanket, coat or similar, it would be sincerely appreciated!

For the 3rd year running, we are supporting Community Support Frankston with a Christmas toy drive 🎅🏼🎄

The toy drive is aimed at assisting disadvantaged kids from all sorts of backgrounds, predominately between the ages of 7-14 as they are usually the kids that are forgotten about.

Gifts shouldn’t be wrapped and must be new 🎁

CSF connect with the following organisations:
- Frankston emergency relief providers (FERP) Network
- Operation Larder
- SalvoCare Eastern
- WAYSS Domestic Violence Outreach
- St Vincent de Paul
- OzChild
- Frankston Special Development Schools
- Frankston Secondary Schools

You can drop off gifts any time during LifeStrong business hours 💝

🏆 CLINIC CLOSED - FRIDAY AND SATURDAY 🏆

Due to the grand final weekend, the clinic will be shut and re-open on Monday as usual.

We are so grateful for this support from the community for local families.

Even though the sun has been shining today, the need for blankets and linen is still critical. If you have any new or near new quality linen you can pass on, we would gratefully accept all sizes - especially single and queen.

❄️ As you would have felt over the past few weeks, it’s extremely cold and unfortunately not all of us have access to the essentials that keep us warm.

🧣Therefore, on behalf of Mothers Supporting Families in Need we are running a BLANKET DRIVE through the clinic.

🛒If you have any new, or near-new blankets, please drop them off to the clinic at 402 Nepean Hwy, Chelsea.

🛌 In particular, there is a shortage in Queen-Size Doonas, Sheets and Blankets.

🗓️ We are in the final stages of collecting all of your wonderful donations. If you are yet to donate, please drop off your new/near-new Doona, Sheet, or Blanket by WEDNESDAY AUGUST 7th.
