Sometimes life gently (or not so gently) reminds us to slow down.
After a recent flare-up of an old neck injury, which has had a little set back, I’ve made the decision to take this week off to rest and prioritise my recovery.
Over the next couple of months, I’ll also be reducing my clinic hours as I continue to focus on healing — physically, emotionally, and energetically.
This time has been full of emotion and has stirred up another deep layer of healing. During the height of COVID, I lost both of my parents — a time of immense grief, all while working as a nurse and holding space for others as a practitioner. It was a chapter of deep giving, resilience, and quiet carrying.
Now, I recognise that it’s time for me to hold space for myself — to honour, to feel, and to heal the layers that have gently risen to the surface, to honor and support myself.
An email has gone out to my beautiful clients, and I just want to say how deeply grateful I am for the beautiful messages I’ve received. Your kindness and understanding mean more than you will ever know 🙏💕.
This hasn’t been an easy decision for me to make, but it’s one I know I need to make — so I can return stronger, with a clearer heart and renewed energy for the work that I love and the clients that I’m honoured to support.
I’m so thankful & grateful for the incredible team of love and support of family, friends & colleagues that I have around me, supporting and caring for me ~ and also the support of both my western & eastern health modalities, supporting my healing ~ life is about creating and having balance with your recovery, healing both the emotional and physical bodies & energy
To anyone else navigating their own season of healing: be gentle with yourself. Rest isn’t a retreat — it’s a sacred return.
With love and gratitude,
Kathleen 💛
